On the water, Solenn 42 is very faithful to the neo-classical lines of its little brothers. A straight bow with very fine water inlets, load-bearing stern shapes and a relatively wide buoyancy make her a contemporary sailboat… The classic spirit is not to be outdone with its long arch of more than two meters of slenderness, marked deck shearling and a rounded picture of the most beautiful effect. The materials are noble: on deck, a profusion of varnished mahogany, teak and stainless steel. Designed by architects Mortain and Mavrikios, the Solenn 42 will never cease to surprise you.
During stopovers, her comfort is very appreciable. The interior of the Solenn 42 offers a beautiful luminosity thanks to the large bow porthole, the two roof portholes and the large hatch illuminating the richly equipped oak interior.
This model is designed to accommodate: a sink with pressurized water, a double-burner gas cooker and a drawer fridge, all organized around a large swivel and adjustable oak table. Navigation is not forgotten because at sea the saloon table swivels 180° and becomes a chart table facing the road.
The standard layout proposed by the Mortain/Mavrikios architects provides more classically for three cabins, a galley, a toilet and a chart table. At the foot of the companionway, there is a height of 1.86 m. The openings at the rear of the roof provide welcome light, even with the door closed.
Each model is customizable to best meet the needs of the future owner.
